Currently watching American Idol.

Competition's getting tougher huh ?

Oh well, now that I've gotten my Poly Package,

things are going really really (and I mean it, really) FAST.

Phewh.

So tomorrow, me and Dad picking lil sissy up from the airport as she gets back from Vietnam.

Finally some noise back.

Cos the house has been unusually quiet without her around.

And mum's making me victim of her usual "attacks" when Nisa's not around. ;P

Then Saturday'll be going out with mum to run some errands

and settle some paper works for school.

Ermm, Sunday hopefully will be an off day.

And Monday will be out with mum again early in the morning to go to sch

to buy my LAPTOP ! weeeee !

And after everything's done, maybe a few dates with some people.

And then rest a while and wait till my pre-orientation day. :)

Haha. So its more or less 2 am in the morning,

and I cant sleep anyways,

thus I decided to bring my dead blog back to life.

The last post I had was right after my birthday,

which was 2 months ago. (wow, its been a long time)

And I've been quite busy (more approriately, lazy) to update.

It's also because everything has been quite a routine.

I go to school, study, come home late, "study" again.

That was before the O-levels.

Now that O-levels is finally over (HALLELUJAH !)

I have all the time in the world to update my blog

and keep it alive. :D

Lets see now, shall we rewind it back or continue on ?

I'll summarize what had happened during my period of absence.

I rode through a rough road and had to face something the hard way.

Yet again, a failure.

So yeah, that happened and I have to move on right ?

So life goes on.

Next, what's coming up :

GRAD NYTE's coming up on the 17th. Yup, a Tuesday night. Yipee.

I guess GRAD NYTE's just too early.

People still have papers the day before, you know.

It's actually pushed forward by a week from last year's.

Why do they have to rush things ?

And another bad news,

"There'll be no student performances on GRAD NYTE"

Upon hearing those words, mine, Teik Wei's and Naz's hopes of performing

for the night were dashed.

Sigh. So what else can we do for that night ?

We'll just have to wait and see.

We were having our June supp classes.

10 June :
Had our last session of RESILIENCE WORKSHOP.
We never expected the workshop to end this way.
Everybody ended up crying for what our trainer, Melvin, said.
It gave a really big blow to majority of us.
THANK YOU, MELVIN.

11 June :
Watched DRAG ME TO HELL with some of 4E5 people.
A movie credited with 4-stars, it was not disappointing.
Except for its ending. It should've been more.
Those looking for gory thrillers, this is the movie for you.

12 June :
LAST DAY OF 2-WEEK JUNE SUPP CLASSES !

13 June :
Nothing much happened, stayed at home.
Continued watching my beloved BOF.

14 June :
Troop went to Haji Lane in search of paper people,
but to our disappointment, it was closed.
Had lunch at Warong Ayam Penyet nearby.
SEDAAAAAAAAAAAAAAP ! Sambal nya pedas banget !
After lunch, went walking around Bussorah Street.
Mummy bought cloth for Hari Raya dress.
Next destination, Jurong Point.
Bought new pair of shoe, then headed down to Gramma's crib.

For Umrah (pilgrimage).

Shopped for Nisa's shoes, which took a long time

and almost made me starve to death.

Because Mum said "we won't have lunch until your sis finds her shoes"

Rifdi wanted to play some soccer with Dad.

While at that, Mum, Nisa and I had some sushi !

So here I am, unable to sleep,
blogging pointlessly about today.

For this week, all MOTHER TONGUE students will be having their INTENSIVE,
in preparation for the upcoming MOTHER TONGUE O-LEVEL EXAMS.
The NON-MOTHER TONGUE students, however,
would be spending time together doing their own INTENSIVES
of different subjects everyday.
Consider that our form class for the week.
And guess what ? We're having a blast !

I'm gonna upload some overdued pictures today.

Taken last Sunday, 17 May.
My family and I went the Marina Barrage !

The initial plan was to watch the opening of the Singapore Arts Festival;

a show entitled Helios (French).

However, we figured out that there will be tonnes of people

rushing to get the shuttle bus after the show.

So, we just watched the pre-show.

Pre-show was a performance by a group of Chinese guys

playing the Chinese Drum.

Way cool ! They played some traditional tunes, and also some modern ones.

For the 1st part of the performance,

the guys wore black shirts with red vests.

For the 2nd part of the performance,

they took off their red vests, only left with their black shirts.

(I know what you guys are thinking.. Don't think dirty !)

Lastly for the 3rd (last) part of their performance,

they took off their black shirt !

Leaving only with their sweaty hot bods. ;D

The lighting on stage make it all better. LOL !

(sorie, i didnt get to take a picture of them, cuz i was sitting too far. >.<)

Today, we became the 3 MOZZIE MOBSTERS !

It was one of the most oh-so-fun activities organised by our Environmental Club.

It started out bad, as we weren't informed abt the change in venue.

It also ended bad, because we were tricked abt having a two-way transport !

We took 184 to Bukit Panjang from Clementi

cause that's the only bus available arnd the area.

Since today Diy and Afah couldn't attend school,
I spent my day mostly with Maggie and Jelly.
Afah was down with flu and fever,
while Diy, diarrhoea.
I'm the strong one left. ;D

Well, let's start with English lesson.
Perhaps because of Afah's aka Your Highness's absence,
Mr Latiff was kinda moody.
Giving out BETA forms to everyone who didnt hand in their homeworks.
Awww, Afah, he misses you ! XD

Nxt, Ms Kavitha was kind enough to postpone the test after much persuasion
and very "sensible" reasonings from the whole class.
She went thru the supposed test question with us,
and said that the postponed test question would be altered a little.
How nice of her. =) Dalarh cute !

After school, sat in the canteen with Jelly, Jingyi and Kaixin
to complete our personal recount which Mr Latiff agrees to trade for our BETA form.

Time to update !
Went out to take my new specs just now,
and planned to meet Diy and Naz after the O-level Workshop.
But ended up meeting more people than expected.
Met Zaidi (FIL !) and his friends, Firdaus (new FIL with such great singing !) and Alif.
Proceeded to JBS to meet Haziq.
Sat, lepak-ed, chatted, sang,
before headed our separate ways.
The boys to Mac, me and Diy to her hse.
Met Mary otw. (Rihanna/CB situation. Hehe.)
Finally gave in to fate upon reaching Diy's block.
Went hm, and here I am blogging.

I know, my life's a bore now.

And yes, this also marks the day of O-levels drawing nearer.
According to Yong JingYi's calculation,
O-levels is approximately 240+ days from today.
That is so little ! I was expecting more than 400.

Anyways, to all peeps taking O-level this yr,

Today was fine.
Lessons went on as usual in the morning,
went to the hall during HPP1 for a briefing on mental illness.
Now, come to think of it,
does the teachers think that we have some sort of a mental illness
that we needed the briefing ?
After HPP1 we proceeded to our Chemistry remedial.
It wasnt so bad thanks to Diy and Afifah.

After Chemistry remedial,
went to catch a movie that neither of us understood.
"Lord of the Flies". Such a title.
After movie, headed down to basketball court with Diy
while waiting for Afifah to finish Track & Field.
Planned to finish up our homework,
but this gang just never failed to distract us with their lame jokes !
Thanks eh, Burhan !
Around 6, sent Diy home then went to Mac with a famished Afifah.
Met Naz and gang at 188.
How strong can guys get ??
I punched Haziq's knuckles 5 times (his knuckles were already damn red)
and he said it wasnt painful.
One punch from him was enough to make my hand numb !
And Naz's knuckles are made of metal i think.
They're solid ! Very very hard !
Dun believe me ? Feel it urself.

Today was the day we had our ENZYME WORKSHOP @ SP !
First word that occured to mind: BORINGGGGG !!!
But not when you do the experiment wrongly,
accidently toppled over the mixture and look forward to the break !
Haha. Yep, that's what happened to us.

All thanks to a great SP student helper who didnt give us a clear instruction,
we ended up adding the enzyme even before the lecturer instructed us to.
However, our experiment wasnt a total failure.
The result was almost as accurate as the others, okaaaaay.
So Diy and Afah, we still did a great job !
Most importantly, we learnt plenty new stuffs, like the real complex structure of an enzyme,
and the other names of common enzymes.
All these are under a course called Biotechnology.
After this workshop, I can guarantee, this isnt my niche. =)

After workshop, we went back to Bukit Batok.
Sat at the ping pong table, with some chips, drinks and friends.
What more can you can you ask for ?
Decided to get going home at around 7.15
Acompanied Naz and Afah took their bus before taking my leave.
And now, here I am, blogging about today. =)

FLAG DAY was fun fun fun !
I've always seen students doing it,
but never thought I'd be one of them someday. Haha.
Now I know, it's tiring work ya noe !
But still, we managed to collect quite a sum.
BeatRice got the most amount among the 3 of us i guess.
Told her she got the potential of becoming a social worker ! X)
And Burhan had, I think, the heaviest can.
His strategic place; outside the bank.
Ppl had no choice but to give since going to tha bank means you have money.
Good one, Bur. =D

After FLAG DAY, went down to CCK,
lepak-ed with Louisse, Bro, Naz, Haziq and Iman.
Wanted to leave at 4.45, bt somebody (Afifah) wont let me go.
Dunno what was wrong with that girl.
But heck, I promise Daddie to be hm by 5.

Upon reaching hm, Mummy opened the door and said,
"Lets go Geylang !"
Maybe I was unconscious or drunk ?
I said "okay"
God knows how exhausted I was on the train.
Hah ! Another prob, in all of the times,
PMS came that day !
(I know I shldnt be mentioning this)
Frustration, anxiety, anger, exhaustion, all fumed into one.
But its okay, I had a great day.

HAPPY ADVANCED CHINESE NEW YEAR

TO ALL MY CHINESE FRIENDS ! =)
We had our CNY celebrations in school today.

And like what Diy said,

it was errrr.. (no comments).

We gathered at our SOP classrms in the morning,

and scattered of to our lessons after MTRe.

Lucky for Afifah & me,

we had a free period while Diy went for her MT.

At first, we were the only souls at the STUDENT PLAZA

until Haziq's class came and for awhile,

we had company.

We joined them for their PE lesson.

Played badminton like the good old days !

During recess, we ate at the STUDENT PLAZA and checked out some cute

Sagano High students who came for an exchange programme.

And I spotted this one !

An angmoh-mixed japanese ! Kawaii-ne ! =)

Haziq was pretty popular among the Sagano High girls

After recess, we headed to the hall for the concert.

It was the Chinese Orchestra first.

It's been one week since my last post.

Hmm, maybe I shld start a system whr by I post only every wk.

Alrightees. 16 January was BBSS CCA showcase.

It was FUN !!!

It was planned that Diy, Miami and I were to attend it

and promote our favourite CCAs other than our own,

cuz Envt Club was only recruiting upper sec students.

So, there was no Envt Club showcase.

We were free to roam !

However, it always end being only me and Miami.

Diy's always disappearing !

Dun blame us yarh ! Evrytime we turn, you're gone ! =p

Okay, people might think I'm so lagging

Yeah, due to my ignorance,

Way way back, Yuan Xing asked me to listen to this song.
But I refused to, thinking it was just some typical

(a few minutes ago,)
I really thought wrong.

SATURDAY 10 JANUARY 2009

Went poly open house visit with Diy, Afifah, Naz and Haziq !

Hmm. The initial plan was to have a poly open house visit marathon,

However, time only permits us to go to Republic Poly.

I'm really falling in love with that thang ! hahaha.

After Republic Poly, our next destination was to Jurong Point.

Naz was informed that Taufik would be there for his SURIA HATIKU album launch.

So off to Jurong Point we go !

In the bus, in that cramped up four seat,

Naz can still make funny jokes. Hah !

He's something when he's bored alright !

Unfortunately, I wasnt able to join them to Jurong Point

(Luckily !)

Cuz Diy told me Taufik's album launch ended at 5 !

But of course, they still had fun ! Duhh ! Who wouldnt noe them ! =)

Today was Kak Murni's engagement ceremony !

Thats the reason why I wasnt able to join the others to Jurong Point ystrd.

Well, we had loads of fun !

Preparing the gifts and of course, unwrapping them !

There were lots of titbits, cakes and chocolates !

It was almost like halloween !

It was every kid's dream.

Congratulations to Nazirul for getting Lance Corporal yesterday.
Get well soon aite. I would need your voice. =)
And our new campus was huge,
the briefing abt the Home Room system was rather intimidating, huh ?
Especially abt the tonnes of books we have to carry everyday.
Last but not least, there's of course, reminders abt our O-levels.
2009 would be huge !

It is featured during the prom scene.

When 18 December was considered one of the worst days,

19th would be one of THE BEST !

Thank GOD a million times I finally got to watch TWILIGHT !!!

As I mentioned to Afifah, it was ABSOLUTE AWESOMENESS !

I think that this movie deserves more stars than the two and a half that it was given.

Even tho it wasnt as what I expected, (I expected more - especially the part

Edward's skin against the sun)

I think it deserves at least a 3 and a half.

Hopefully NEW MOON would be better,

since it's director is also the director of THE GOLDEN COMPASS. =)

So for all movie go-ers,

who love those sweet lovestories or thrill,

you guys better watch it !

They skip some parts in the book,

but it's still good !

Today was the last day of school. YESSSSSSSA !!!
There were lots of ups and downs thru the year.
We started from strangers to a noisy class
that made a few teachers fed-up with us.

Hahaha. Anyway, the main point was that we had fun this year.
Tho not as fun as last year, I should say,
This year gave us a new experience with new people we met 10months back.
Many things happened, and many things solved.
New relationships made, while to some, it was just not meant to be.

has been an unforgettable experience. =D

5 days since her surgery.

As God permits and also from the bliss from those who has prayed for her,

the surgery was a success.

Went to watch HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL 3 today

And I give 2 thumbs up !!

Watched it with dearest friends :

Diy (2nd time watching), Beatrice, Afifah, Louisse and Nazirul (3rd time watching!

I totally recommend it to all High School Musical fans !

High School Musical 3 is the combination of HSM1 & HSM2.

Totally cool ! Great set and choreography !

From Twilight, to New Moon to Eclipse,

she grabbed my attention better than Taufik Batisah ! (as if !)

It has been approximately 3 weeks since i last updated.
Alot has happened (duhh).
Planning to upload photos, but alot of organizing have to be done.
Organize - the word i cant quite get used to. =)

Ystrd was post exam activity day.
It was not so fun at the beginning as we did not really noe how to appreciate the sculptures.
Heck. What can a bunch of ignorant teens see from piece of metal moulded into shapes ?
Hehe. Okay. Well, it got fun to last few parts.
After our break, to be exact.
We saw bunch of good-looking New Zealanders at the Cavenagh Bridge !
Pheweet !! Hehe.
Before boarding the bus, there's also a couple of Caucasians waving at us.
How can our day be better ??
Haha ! For Diy it was !
After our post exam activity, we a Nokia School Invasion Tour.
The performance rawked and it was better than what I expected.
First to perform was this local band called EN-X
Man ! They were good.
In their second song, named Circles, their lead singer - Alvin,
pointed to somebody.. (Diy) Hehe.
Hey Alvin, you just made her day !
She was so happy, she cried ! =)
And now she cant stop thinking of you and what you did !
Haha !
Next song, Love.
Hais.. Cair kite dibuat nye..
Alvin pointed to Diy's direction AGAIN !!
And yes, there were plenty of reliable witnesses there alryte.
That was perhaps the best day Diy ever had.
Yay HER !! =)
There was also Jack & Rai.
They were good too.

- After that, went BB with Diy and Afifah.
- Came across Hafiz Bro otw.
- Lepak-ed after sent Diy home.
- Found a cat which Hafiz Bro called "Baby"
- "Baby" LOVES Hafiz =)
- Met Nordin & Naz
- Na'iim & Uni joined
- Boys played soccer, Afah & Anne camwhored with Uni's specs
- Went home soon after.

I'll be M.I.A-ing for a few weeks, bcos of the examination period.
EOYs are just nxt week and I havent started studying !
I'm totally in trouble.
Lets cross our fingers and hope that we all do well in our exams,
and of course, pass with flying colours.

Before gone, i wanna recap on something that someone has told me.

vow to quit smoking by the end of fasting month this year.
If he were to break this vow,

Today, went studying with Dearest Dudes plus,

Ipin Bear, Naiim, Danial and Nordin.

Me and Afifah reached first, at MacD.

Eventho it was bugging our temptation to see the ppl arnd us eating,

we stayed strong and continued fasting. =)

Bagos kaaaaaan...

So after plus minus half an hr of waiting,

Diy finally arrived.

The boys only arrived one hr and 10mins later than meeting time.

I mean, how long does it take for a guy to get ready ??

And so we studied, not much, but we did. =)

Mission completed.

Teachers' Day celebration was best.
Especially the performances.
Concert was kicked off with a great bang by the Wak-Wak.
Ipin sang "are you my number one" very sweetly,
eventho there's some faults in the beginning,
he covered it up with a cute "sorie abt that" statement. =)
"Zombie" was great ! Haha !
it was unexpected that he can change the tune of the song like that !
Sweeeeeeeet ! =)

Nazirul also performed with Josh.
"Me and Mrs Jones".
Tapi sayang, some technical malfunctions caused his voice cannot be heard.
Puki sak tu P.A system ! Naz da practise so hard tau !
Tkpe Naz, people would still know you have a great voice.
And like what Nana said, you can become the next BBSS idol.
You know i'll always support you. =)

Next, there's Louisse and Shannon's performance,
or consider it their final battle.
It was greeeeeeeaaaaaaat !
Shannon was soooooo coooool ! =)
And that was mostly it.

3e5 got 1st for captain's ball,
4th for floorball,
but lost soccer. =(
Didnt go back to Bukit View that day.
Was too tired aredi.
Sorie to all my Primary School frens who went.
